The Algarve is situated in the southernmost region of Portugal and yet it is only as little as two and a half hours away by aeroplane from the United Kingdom.

The region offers a superb variety of sights and locations; from hidden coves, sandy beaches and rocky cliffs on the coast, to the untouched countryside featuring rugged mountains, luscious green valleys, forests, blooming orchards and hidden hamlets made up of floral covered whitewashed houses.
With sport and leisure facilities, including many of the finest internationally renowned golf courses, numerous fun and water parks, historical sites ranging from Roman Ruins to Royal Palaces, beaches and unspoilt countryside, the Algarve has something to offer everyone, regardless of age.
The climate is such that holidays may be taken in the Algarve at any time throughout the year, but it should be noted that in the height of the summer temperatures can become very hot whilst the winters are usually quite mild with some rain and can become cold at night.
